How to setup a auto-reboot using Task Scheduler.

1. In the search bar type "Task Scheduler".

2. Right-click "Task Scheduler" and select "Run as Administrator".

1. Once the application opens, click on "Action" followed by "Create Basic Task".

2. Once the new window opens, give your task an appropriate name and click "Next".

3. The next window allows you to choose the frequency of your task. We recommend you set this to weekly or at the very least monthly. Select your frequency and click "Next".

4. Next configure the details of your task. We recommend that you set the reboot to take place every Sunday to avoid clashing with trading hours. Once selected click "Next".

5. On the next ensure that "Start a program" is selected and click "Next". In the "Program/script" field type "shutdown" and in the "Add arguments (optional)" field type "/r" to specify a restart. Click "Next".

6. After clicking "Next" ensure that the "Open the properties dialog..." box is checked and then click "Finish".

7. In the "Properties" window you can choose to have the reboot to "Run whether user is logged in or not". If you select this setting the reboot will take place regardless of whether you are logged into to your server or not.

8. If happy with this selection, click "OK". You will be prompted for your password, once entered and confirmed your task will be created and visible in "Task Scheduler Library".
