How to run a Traceroute and Ping test (Windows)

1. Type "CMD" in the search box at the bottom of your screen and open the "Command Prompt" application.

2. Use the "tracert" command followed by the address you wish to reach to perform a traceroute e.g. "tracert www.liqc.com".

1. Within the same window you can also run a ping test, to test connectivity.

2. We recommend using the "ping -t" command to provide a larger sample size.

3. Simply type "ping -t" followed by the IP address you wish to reach e.g. "ping -t 8.8.8.8".

1. Right click the top of the Command Prompt window, click "Edit" and then click "Select All".

2. Right-click the top of the window again, click "Edit" and then click "Copy".

3. You can now paste these results directly into your support ticket, live chat or email correspondence.
