MT4 Instance count recommendation per VPS package.

There is no fixed limit to how many MT4 terminals can be run on a VPS as long as you have enough resources. It is impossible to give a definite answer to the question of how many due to each MT4s resource usage being dependent on multiple factors, from the EA requirements to the number of charts and indicators on the MT4 itself. So we can only give a rough estimate of how many.

  • For the VPS1 package which has 1 CPU core and 2 GB of RAM, you can on average run 1 - 2 MT4

  • For the VPS2 package which has 2 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM, you can run on average 2 - 4 MT4

  • For the VPS3 package which has 3 CPU cores and 6 GB of RAM, you can on average run 4 - 6 MT4

  • For the VPS4 package which has 4 CPU cores and 8 GB of RAM, you can run 7+ MT4

Note: These are only rough guidelines it is recommended that once you have your trading platforms installed you contact us and ask us to run a resource check for you. With this, support will check the RAM and CPU usage and can tell you exactly what your system is using. This will help determine if you need to upgrade to more resources or even downgrade to a lower package if you have plenty of excess resources.
